Sometimes, you lose a phone, or a water bottle, or a pen. And sometimes, you lose your sleeping accessories.

    * A person dropped it onto the tracks
    * A person took a nap on the comfy rail ballast, and forgot to take his pillow when he woke up

    Neither would surprise me.
